How the Fund Works

Investor Suitability
Investors must meet certain eligibility and suitability standards in order to become a member of the Fund. Refer to Offering Circular for complete details.
The Investor must be a California Resident (if Investor is a trust, the principal office of trust must be located in California); and
(1) has a net worth (exclusive of home, furnishings and automobiles) of at least Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000); or
(2) has a net worth (exclusive of home, furnishings and automobiles) of at least Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) and an annual gross income of at least Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000); or
(3) is purchasing in a fiduciary capacity (such as custodian of an IRA or as a trustee of a Keogh trust) for a participant who meets the requirements of either (1) or (2) above.
Retirement Accounts
Self-Directed retirement accounts such as IRA, 401K, Profit Sharing and Pensions provide a great way to invest funds while maintaining the tax advantages of the original accounts. The Private Capital Fund has been approved by a growing list of custodians for self-directed investment accounts including: TD Ameritrade, PENSCO, Fiserv, Trust Company of America, Polycomp, Sterling Trust and Entrust.
